Over a quarter of a million Americans have died with drug-related deaths the biggest being Fentanyl since 2021, an all-time high driven by the prevalence of illicit fentanyl and the emergence of even more potent opioids like xylazine (“Tranq”). Despite the best efforts of federal, state, and local officials, it’s clear the status quo is not working.
